Description
Chinese New Year of 2020 falls on January 25. I'm thinking we can do a workshop on January 18 or 25. What do you think? Since the workshop is going to be around the New Year time, the subject matter would be the New Year celebration . Below is the description that can be used for the workshop (my edit in red). Please review it. This Chinese Brush Painting workshop is open to all skill levels, including both new and returning students. The basic techniques will be covered in the session: proper brush handling, different brush strokes, ink and color mixing, and use of different rice papers. The Instructor will provide the initial demonstration and subject matter about the New Year celebration. Students will be encouraged to complete their own individual paintings under her guidance. A materials fee of $5 is payable directly to the instructor.  This Chinese Brush Painting workshop is open to all skill levels, including both new and returning students.
