Description

In this 6 week class, broaden your understanding of the painting through guided exploration with teaching artist Barbara DiLorenzo. In the first few sessions, learn the basics of composition and perspective in designing a piece of work, before delving into color mixing, brush stroke, and shadow to bring your work to life. Projects may include self portraiture, landscape, and still life.

Please bring drawing materials and whatever paints you already have to the first session, as well as a canvas at least 8x8.

If using acrylic paints, any beginner set is fine.
