Description
Explore repeatable printmaking at its easiest, most accessible form. This workshop will teach you these ins and outs of intaglio printmaking—a centuries-old technique for translating drawings and marks into a repeatable edition of prints. Using simple skills, artists will have the opportunity to discover the ease of quick and easy intaglio printing. Along the way, artists will learn about basic viscosity printing, monoprinting, multi-plate printing, chine colle and exploratory inking techniques. Beginners encouraged, no experience necessary. A material fee of $30 will cover all materials, tools and supplies for this workshop.
