This art journaling workshops will focus on the central themes of "the seasons". Under the guidance of artist educator Dressler Smith, participants will use still life to learn fundamental techniques of drawing and watercolor painting. With an emphasis on plant life, we will utilize watercolor pencil, watercolor, mixed media and photographs. Document your feelings and life events in a meaningful and creative format. Fuse words with imagery though drawing, watercolor and more to organize your thoughts, preserve your experiences, and de-stress though a personally expressive outlet. Using the four seasons as a starting point, learn how to commit your life’s memories to book form though engaging prompts and practical tips from the instructor. No drawing experience necessary.
