This new class is offered for young aspiring artists who would like to gain practice by studying the classical techniques of such Renaissance Italian Masters as Michelangelo, da Vinci and Rembrandt ... to name a few!
Good drawing techniques are the foundation for painting - no matter what style. Students will study works by the Masters and then create drawings using examples in the studio and by visiting the world-famous collection in the Princeton University Art Museum. They will learn such fundamental techniques as the use of line, light and planes using graphite, charcoal and other materials. Students will soon see how schooled the Masters were in craftsmanship!
Materials included. Skip date: Saturday February 15.
