Revolutionary Art! at Morven Museum & Garden

Dive deep into the history behind this local historic landmark – Morven Museum – through this 6 week class with longtime instructor Veronica Olivares. Focus on the crafts and art forms being created during the Revolutionary War era –explore historically based projects such as miniature portraits, pen and ink landscapes and doll-making, quilt-making, silhouettes and basketry. Masters of this era like John Singleton Copley, Benjamin West, John Trumbull and Gilbert Stuart will all be explored. This class is a partnership between the Arts Council and Morven Museum & Garden. Membership rates apply for members of either organization.
