Week 10: Printmaking & Illustration - From Hokusai to Nara [In Person]
Ages: 13 yrs. to 16 yrs.

For thousands of years, Japanese artists have been trendsetters, exploring beauty through ceramics, printmaking, drawing & painting. This class will include an exploration of paper arts, printmaking, drawing & painting. We will draw inspiration from a plethora of Japanese artists including Yayoi Kusama, Takashi Murakami, Hokusai, and Yoshitomo Nara.

Class schedule

9:30-12:30pm: Instruction

12:30-1:15pm: Unsupervised lunch offsite

1:15-4:15pm: Instruction & Open Studio Time
