Saturday Morning Arts!
Ages: 5 yrs. to 8 yrs.
The young artists program continues this spring with exploration of characters in both 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional mediums. Artists are encouraged to explore various ways to create interesting and fun characters with paint, collage and sculpture. Artists of all abilities are welcomed.
In this 7-week course, young artists will learn basic artistic principles – developing skills and confidence each session. Color theory, perspective, proportion will be balanced with imaginative art making! The goal is to make learning drafting skills accessible to younger artists while having fun.

About the Instructor: Barbara DiLorenzo is a children’s book author and illustrator (RENATO AND THE LION, Viking 2017 and QUINCY, little bee books, 2018). She graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design, and studied under Mary Beth McKenzie at the Art Students League in New York. She is a signature member of the New England Watercolor Society as well as the Society of Illustrators. Barbara loves teaching at the Arts Council of Princeton where she aims to bring out the best in all artists.
