Join local artist instructor Yuka Koiwa in creating your own stories through origami, watercolor & illustration. In the first part of the class we will learn how to create sea creatures, forest animals, flowers and more out of traditional folded paper techniques. In the second part of this camp, join teaching artist Dave DiMarchi and get pulpy, wet and messy while immersing yourself in the world of papermaking and sculpture! We’ll not only explore traditional papermaking, we’ll also make cast paper objects. Similar to papier-mâché, working with fibrous, wet paper pulp is a fun and loose way to create art in three dimensions.
