Week 2: Comic Art, Comic Books, Anime & Graphic Novels - Character & Story (Virtual Camp)
Ages: 10 yrs. to 12 yrs.

This camp will help you hone your skills as a comic book artist! Students will develop characters and story plots while sharpening drawing and writing skills. Practice techniques used by pros. Experiment with penciling, inking and lettering. All work will be compiled into a finished comic for each camper to keep.  

Tech Requirements: Wifi, a computer or other device with a built in camera, and a Zoom account. Students will receive an email with instructions prior to the first day. Materials: All materials included for those who enroll by the Wednesday before camp begins. Art boxes filled with materials for the week will be ready for pick up at the Arts Council the week before camp begins. Parents will be emailed to set up a convenient time for pick up. The Arts Council cannot mail or ship any art kits. We will be using the following materials in this camp: Index cards, sharpies, sketchbook.
