Drawing: Beg/Int (Tuesday Session)
This course will introduce students to the fundamentals of drawing from observation, focusing on line, shape, and space to build accuracy and develop composition. This class will include 2 sessions to draw from live models. Model fees included. 
Supplies: Drawing pad 11x14, Black fine point pen (flowing ink, NOT ballpoint), Drawing pencils 2B, 4B. Kneaded eraser. Charcoal pencil, soft. Prismacolor black double-end marker (thick & thin points) These may be purchased at Jerry's Artarama on Route 1 in Lawrenceville
About the instructor: Jamie Greenfield graduated from the State University of New York at Fredonia with a Bachelor’s degree in Studio Art, and received her Master’s degree in Fine Art from the State University of New York at Albany. She taught studio art and art history at The Lawrenceville School in New Jersey from 1988-2016 on the George R. Bunn ‘34 Family Distinguished Teaching Chair, and was Director of the School’s Hutchins Gallery. She is currently an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Visual Arts Department at Rider University. She has taught art at SUNY Albany and at the Albany Academy for Girls, and worked as an antique porcelain restoration artist in Philadelphia. Having exhibited throughout New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, Greenfield’s work is included in the permanent collections of the Mercer County Cultural & Heritage Commission, Rider University, The Lawrenceville School, the Wm. & Uytendale Scott Memorial Study Collection at Bryn Mawr College, the University of Delaware, The College of New Jersey, SUNY Albany, and the State University of New York at Fredonia.
