Experience the passion of Flamenco dance in this course guaranteed to give your body, mind, and soul a total workout! Shoes with a heel are required, and women should wear a full skirt. Preregistration is required. Registration in this progression class requires permission of the instructor.   Class is 8 weeks long, from September 18 - November 13. Skip date: October 9th.    
About the Instructor: Lisa Botalico is currently Associate Artistic Director and Principal Dancer/Choreographer of The Alborada Spanish Dance Theatre. She was a featured artist on the Emmy Award winning documentary, The Spanish Guitar, which appeared on NJN’s Images/Imagenes, produced by William Sanchez. Among her numerous NJ performances are concerts at NJPAC, George Street Playhouse, Crossroads Theatre and The Community Theatre in Morristown. With Alborada, she is on the roster of Young Audiences of New Jersey and Pennsylvania and MorrisArts. She toured the USA as Director/Principal Dancer of La Compañía Folkorica Latina under the auspices of the National Theatre of the Performing Arts. Lisa’s photo was included in the Lincoln Center Library of the Performing Arts 2012 exhibition, 100 Years of Flamenco NYC. Visit Lisa’s website at: www.lisabflamenco.com.

Classes will take place in the spacious Solley Theater, with social distancing, masks, sanitizing in between classes, and temperature checks upon entry.
