Intro to Drawing: Anatomy and Figure Studies [Online Class]
Looking to improve your drawing skills? Gaining an understanding of the mechanics inside the human body is essential. Teaching artist Barbara DiLorenzo will guide students in learning how to see and then show through their illustrations the muscle, bone and tissue beneath the surface. Learn through historical documents from DaVinci to Gray's Anatomy, virtual demonstrations and group critiques in this 6 week online class.

About the Instructor: Barbara DiLorenzo is a children’s book author and illustrator (RENATO AND THE LION, Viking 2017 and QUINCY, little bee books, 2018). She graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design, and studied under Mary Beth McKenzie at the Art Students League in New York. She is a signature member of the New England Watercolor Society as well as the Society of Illustrators.
